COVID-19 Resource List - Gibney
Week of April 6, 2020
Making space for
COVID19 Resource Page

So many leaders in our field have stepped up to offer resources, share knowledge, and mobilize on behalf of those who need support. This display of care and responsiveness makes us proud to be part of this community.

We would like to share some of these important resources and action steps with you. Details are available below, sorted into the following categories:

  • STAY ENGAGED: Find ways to take class, stay grounded, and keep experiencing art. Many innovative artists are continuing to show up to share their work, and keep us all moving—no matter what.
  • GET SUPPORT: Learn about resources that are available for artists, including emergency funding, government programs, and mutual aid that specifically support freelance dance artists.
  • ADVOCATE & ORGANIZE: Help ensure that artists are supported through this difficult time by contacting your congressperson, documenting impact, and more.

All lists are in alphabetical order.

We are moved by the love and care that members of this community have shown one another over the last several days. You are what the world needs right now. Keep going.

At the bottom of this page, we have also provided a list of additional resource documents being compiled by peer organizations for your reference.

Please reach out to us at taskforce@gibneydance.org with questions, or to share resources to support artists through this difficult time. We will update this page periodically.
