This 5-day intensive, led by Jennine Willett, offers the experience of a collaborative creative process in an easeful setting– where the focus is learning through practice and enjoying every minute of it. The course begins with exploring a broad topic using Jennine’s idea-mapping method. Then a deeper dive into the topic will guide the group to find concepts that become
the backbone for generating performance material.

Participants will work together as generators, directors, and performers– discovering how artists wear different hats in a process and fluidly shift from one role to another based on tasks. At the end of the week, they will stitch together the content created for an informal “sharing” with the community, practicing the skills of comfortably inviting an audience into a process and engaging in dialogue that cultivates interest and support. In a positive environment, Jennine’s courses offer a place for experimentation, discussion, and artistic connection, all essential aspects of her practice. Artists of all disciplines and levels are welcome.

If you are interested in this offering but cost of tuition is a barrier for you, Gibney and Third Rail Projects are offering limited scholarship opportunities to those in need.
