Aaron Loux is a New York City-based dance artist and educator with over a decade of professional experience. He holds a BFA from The Juilliard School, is a certified yoga teacher, and leads ballet, modern dance, and yoga classes to adults of diverse backgrounds, from beginners to professional dancers to persons living with Parkinson’s disease. Aaron has been a company member of the Mark Morris Dance Group since 2010, where he has performed in over 40 works by Morris and served as assistant to the choreographer from 2017-2019. He has also performed with Christopher Williams, Charlotte Bydwell, Arc Dance Company, and the Metropolitan Opera Ballet. Throughout his career, he has studied with and borrows much from esteemed teachers Christine Wright, Gelsey Kirkland, Kelly Slough, Carol Teitelbaum, and Janet Charleston. At MMDG, Aaron is on the faculty of the Adult Open Program, pre-professional intensives, and Dance for Parkinson’s program. He also teaches company class for MMDG and the Paul Taylor Dance Company.
