Born and raised in New Jersey, Amy Pastrana is a first-generation Ecuadorian-American with a passion for performing arts and education dedicated to amplifying voices at all artistic levels. With a B.A in Theatre Arts and Arts Administration from Drew University, and an M.A in Media Studies with a Certificate in Media Management from The New School, Amy has developed a love for digital marketing, arts administration, project managing, content creation, and branded web design for performing arts, small start-ups, and educational organizations. She has fulfilled production roles such as playwright, actor, stage manager, light designer, script supervisor, and director. Amy has worked in the marketing and communication roles with Ballet Hispánico, Writers Theatre of N.J., the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Cherry Lane Theatre, Morado Lens Podcast, The English Language Studies Department at The New School, New Latin Wave, Union County Afterschool Center of Music, and Writer in the Dark Productions. Amy is delighted to help cater to and develop initiatives by empowering performance artistry while bringing accessibility and engaging content to Gibney.
