Claudia originally trained at American Ballet Theater as a professional ballet dancer and was brought into the fitness world by Jane Fonda to teach at the first Jane Fonda Studio. There she became one of only two instructors chosen to do a two-year apprenticeship with Doreen Rivera in “The Stretch Process” Recognized as one of the top teachers of the time, Claudia was recruited by Japanese visionaries to open the first aerobic studio in Japan. The success of that club led to an international career designing fitness programs, training instructors, and doing publicity for clubs all over the world. Back in the United States she became one of the first instructors ever to be certified by the fitness industry (AFA), taught Pilates at Mari Winsor’s first Pilates studio, and was certified by the legendary Zena Rommett in Floor-Barre. Ten years ago she discovered MELT for healing and preventing injuries, and extending the professional life of dancers and athletes and became an Advanced MELT Teacher.
