Hannah Long (Redlands, CA) is a recent graduate of UNC Greensboro with a BFA in Performance and Choreography. In 2017, she was fortunate to study abroad at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Her choreographed works From the Egg (2017), Signaling (2018) and Synergy (2018) all premiered at UNC Greensboro. She has performed in Akinyemi Blackshear’s Kalonji Dance Company and in works by Marcus White, Justin Tornow, Arlynn Zachary, Ronald K. Brown, and Clarice Young. Her most recent performances have been in the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival with Shannon Bell and at the National Gap Year Association Conference with Dominque Robinson and Zoe Rappaport. In addition to Gibney, she is currently working for Pizarts: Dance Gap Year, the first global gap year program for dancers while also pursuing freelance dance photography.
