Jade Diouf (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist from Maryland and a 2019 YoungArts Winner. She is a 2023 graduate of The Juilliard School, where she performed works by Aszure Barton, Spenser Theberge, Jermaine Spivey, and Ohad Naharin. Since graduating, she has performed internationally with Lyon Opera Ballet and Staatstheater Nürnberg in works by Marco Goecke, Marcos Morau, and Merce Cunningham. Since 2020, Jade has also been commissioned for her work in sound design, most recently contributing to an installation funded by the DC Office of Planning and Economic Development for Sarah J. Ewing, as well as creating the score for Chloe Crenshaw’s world premiere, POOR SOULS, with Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance Company. Rooted in joy and play, her practice spans dance, music, and fashion. As both performer and sound designer, Jade brings a world-building approach and deep sensitivity to every project she touches. Her guiding ethos remains simple: follow what inspires, always.
