Originally from Oregon, Jessica Hovermale (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and arts administrator based in New York City. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2024 with a BA in Dance and a BS in Planning, Public Policy, and Management, along with a minor in Nonprofit Administration and a Certificate in Teaching Dance. She is certified to teach the Danceability Method, and her work is grounded in equity, collaboration, communication, and care. She is currently a Resident Artist with Fermata Ballet Collective, and has experience in arts administration, nonprofit operations, dance education, choreography, and community engagement across local government, nonprofits, and grassroots arts organizations. She is passionate about making the arts more accessible and fostering connection through creative work.
