Originally from Atlanta, GA, Morgan has been dancing their whole life and after studying dance performance in undergrad, they taught ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop courses at various dance schools across the greater Atlanta area and then obtained their MA in Performing Arts Administration from NYU with a focus in working within dance organizations. Prior to joining Gibney, they worked with companies like Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Morgan is an artist and life-long lover of the performing arts and is thrilled to be helping create a space at Gibney where artists can thrive, be their full selves and hone in their craft.
