Simone Gelety (they/them) is a New-York based artist and administrator. Originally from Tucson, AZ, they trained at the School of Ballet Tucson and with renowned tap performer Frank Trent. With KU Studios, Simone gained experience in local community outreach. They performed in touring holiday shows for senior homes, the Veteran’s Hospital, the Salvation Army’s Thanksgiving & Christmas Community Meals, and Diamond Children’s Medical Center. 

In 2026, Simone received their BFA in Acting with a minor in Dance from Otterbein University. At Otterbein’s Summer Theatre, they directed the play Suppressed Desires by Susan Glaspell,and served as assistant choreographer for the tap musical Dames at Sea. They have written and produced the political-satire short film Ring Around the Rosie, speakingon modern day LGBTQ+ issues, and produced the satirical horror short, The Columbus Coroner. 


Before joining the Executive Team, Simone worked on Gibney Gala 2026: On the Move as the Development Intern. They continue to work as a freelance actor and dance artist.
