Taylor Schmuelgen is a New York City based dance artist and administrator originally from Austin, TX. She holds a BFA in Dance with a minor in Arts Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. As an artist, she prioritizes curiosity, vulnerability, and pleasure. She is interested in making space for mistakes, for messy dances, and for not taking herself too seriously. Taylor is passionate about facilitating opportunities for other movement artists to present their work and questioning what dance is and how dance functions in the world.
