Simonson Jazz/Latin Jazz

With an emphasis on Latin Jazz music and movement, this class will follow the Simonson Jazz format. It begins with the signature 10 minute warm-up developed by Master teacher Lynn Simonson, followed by Teresa’s exercises and dance combinations designed to explore rhythms, isolations and body part coordination. Students will be given the opportunity to expand their movement vocabulary, to open up facility in their bodies and to find a deeper sense of musicality.
