In this workshop, we will define and discuss extrinsic considerations when teaching or dancing from home and how these relate to injury prevention. Topics covered will include environmental factors such as flooring, temperature, and space; footwear; and conditioning modifications. Educators, parents, and students can gain tools readily applicable to dancing at home as well as useful in preparing for post-pandemic return to the studio.
