A full body deep dive into the world of LajaMartin style dance theater. Guided first to listen and follow the body’s intuition, fall into the pleasures of moving. Flow smoothly into a foundation of floor-work to build strength and find efficiency in riding momentum. Push the heights of physicality in phrase work defined my musicality and rhythm while leaning into the power of the group moving as a whole. Utilizing this grounding base, open the theatrical channel through corporeal impulse to investigate the physical body as a portal between real and surreal worlds.
