Move Beyond Violence: A Benefit Performance
Oct 11, 2018, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm EDT
$100
Move Beyond Violence, a one-night-only benefit performance, will kick off Gibney’s annual Cracks of Light performance series, co-presented by Sanctuary for Families.
The evening will include a reception, an inside look at Gibney’s decades-long commitment to the arts and social justice community, and special performances by singer/songwriter Morley Kamen (“Morley”), Sanctuary for Families’ Survivor Leaders, Gibney Dance Company, and Samara Gaev’s Truthworker Theatre Company.
Proceeds will support Gibney’s growing roster of Community Action initiatives—from working with survivors and their families across local shelters, to mobilizing artists as activists both on and off the stage, to addressing healthy relationship building with students in schools.
Together, we can move beyond violence.
Join us and help make a difference.
Eileen Fisher is a lead sponsor of Gibney’s 2018 Move Beyond Violence Benefit, which kicks off the Cracks of Light performance series.
