Gibney proudly presents an evening of work by Professional Training Student Nathaniel Phillips!
Nathaniel Phillips is a born and raised New Yorker who has lived in Brooklyn most of his life. He has studied at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance and Dancewave in Brooklyn. Nate then continued his training at Gibney’s Professional Training Program. At Gibney, Nate learned from Urban Bush Women, Miguel Gutierrez and Bobbi Jene Smith. Nate teaches dance and creative movement at Loco-Motion Dance Theatre. Teaching helped Nate find his love for dance again. Thanks to Sam Baker and Jessie Kardos and everyone at Gibney, Nate has started to find his place in the dance world. That’s all folks.
