Gibney’s Training Department, led by Senior Director of Training, Alexandra Wells, serves the current and holistic needs of adult dance artists, with consideration for the multiplicity of career expressions and entry points.
Through the cultivation of an inclusive and positive space, our offerings make space for exploration, risk-taking, personal and artistic growth, connection, and fun. It is our priority to listen to and support our community and to empower the future leaders of the field.
Through an antiracist lens and with insistence upon accessibility, our programming is shaped with a diverse team of dance educators and techniques offered, curated by Gilbert T Small II and Alexandra Wells. Join us, wherever you are, for live, online classes with renowned teaching artists in New York City and beyond. Let’s keep moving together and finding new ways to connect!
Gibney encourages people with disabilities to attend online classes, and we welcome the opportunity to make this event more accessible.
