Amanda Stambrosky is a Brooklyn based choreographer and performer. She grew up in Sarasota Florida, and she received her BFA in Dance from The University of Florida. While living in Gainesville she worked as the Dancer and Choreographer in Residence at The Harn Museum of Art. She has performed works by Pat Graney, Nita Little, Raja Feather Kelly, Tzveta Kassabova, Kristen O’Neal, Celia Rowlson-Hall, and Larry Keigwin. She has presented her choreography at Creative Cultural Center, Triskelion Arts, ART/New York South Oxford Space, and Eden’s Expressway. She is currently working as a Senior Production Trainee at Gibney Dance Center, and an Administrative Assistant at Creative Cultural Center. In her free time she knits, skateboards, and collaborates on site specific visual and performance art.
