Emilia Stuart Lynch is passionate about creating spaces where artists can thrive. As the Center Director at Gibney, she oversees daily operations, partnerships, and programming, helping to make the space a welcoming and supportive hub for the dance community.
With an MBA and MFA in Theatre specializing in Arts Management, as well as degrees in Education and Dance, Emilia combines her love for the arts with the skills to help artists and organizations succeed. She is also the founder of Dance Alabama!, a nonprofit that gives students hands-on experience in producing their own dance performances, training the next generation of arts administrators.
She has worked in production, development, and marketing with organizations including Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Vanderbilt University, American Ballet Theatre, and the Joffrey Ballet School. Whether coordinating performances, supporting fundraising efforts, or helping artists connect with new opportunities, she is dedicated to making the arts more accessible, sustainable, and inclusive.
Above all, Emilia believes in the power of dance to bring people together. She is committed to fostering a creative community where artists feel valued, supported, and inspired to share their work with the world.
