Faith Brown developed a passion for the performing arts at a very young age, beginning with dance lessons at the tender age of 4. She continued her studies throughout the years and decided to officially pursue her passion for dance as a career choice when she attended high school at the Youth Performing Arts School in Kentucky. Faith is currently a sophomore at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign pursuing a B.F.A. in dance as well as a minor in business. Her choreography has been performed at the 2015 Governor’s School for the Arts, awarded at the 2016 High School District Award Ceremony, and provided her with a scholarship in the 2017 Fine and Applied Arts Choreography contest. In addition to being a Gibney Center intern, Faith is also an intern within the dance department at her university. Faith is very grateful for this opportunity to work with the Gibney staff, and she would like to give thanks to her family, friends, and God for supporting her along this journey.
