Kate works at the intersection of choreography, installation, and social practice. Creating work where “wild imagination ruled,” (New York Times), she has toured internationally with premieres at: Summerstage Central Park and Redcat, and received support from: Doris Duke Foundation, Creative Capital, FCA, Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, and Map Fund. She is a Pew Fellow in Choreography. She has choreographed for St. Vincent, Panda Bear, Animal Collective, Black Dice, & Xenia Rubinos, as well as for Alex Da Corte at the Venice Biennale. She holds an MFA in Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
