Katie Rudd is a contemporary dancer and arts administrator from New Plymouth, New Zealand. She graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2013 and was honoured as an NZSD Distinguished Graduate in 2023.

Katie was a member of The New Zealand Dance Company from 2014 to 2024, performing in critically acclaimed, innovative contemporary dance theatre and company repertoire. She toured extensively throughout New Zealand, Europe, Canada, Australia, South Korea and New Caledonia. She has also worked as guest artist with Borderline Arts Ensemble and Xin Ji Films, served as Rehearsal Director for Company Beck and is a qualified yoga teacher. 

In addition to her performance career, Katie is an experienced educator dedicated to the advancement of contemporary dance through teaching, mentorship, and community engagement. She is committed to nurturing emerging artists and fostering inclusive, creative spaces.
