Lieana Sherry (she/her) is a Chinese-American dance artist and teacher focused in concert dance via contemporary, modern, and ballet techniques. Sherry pursues work that wields technique and physicality to share stories, cultivate diverse conversation, and reflect life through multiple lenses. Sherry grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City’s conservatory program in 2021. After graduation, Sherry continued her career in Chicago, IL. Lieana currently dances with Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance (KC) and Omar Roman de Jesus’ Boca Tuya (NYC). Lieana also is a 200hr RYT through Yoga Alliance.
