Megan, originally from a small town in North Carolina, graduated summa cum laude from Winthrop University with a B.A. in Dance and Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she was fortunate to study under artists such as Sandra Neels, Ashley Suttlar-Martin, Emily Morgan, Jackie O’Toole, Kelly Ozust, Meg Schriffin, Maria Caruso, Mia Cunningham, and Lauren Skrabalak. Megan performed in faculty concerts, traveling repertory theatres, and musicals during her time at Winthrop. She choreographed two main stage modern pieces and was voted “Most Inspiring Choreographer” by her peers/professors. Megan is an alumni of Jennifer Archibald’s Archcore40 program. Megan has choreographed tap and contemporary pieces for many competitive studios in North and South Carolina. In 2017, she was named Artistic Director of Little Broadway Studio in North Carolina. Megan recently moved to New York City to pursue her dance performance career and she is so honored to be sharing her love of dance with the Gibney community.
