This class for professional and pre-professional dancers aims to ease us back into the studio after a year of Zoom and living room dances. Together, we will explore ways to move off balance, spiral through space and dance in concert with the floor below us and people around us. Class will begin with a thorough warm-up that will build to some technical exercises, followed by a larger movement phrase. We will also use improvisation as a tool to interrogate our movement habits and expand the tools available to us when approaching choreography.
