Sam Baker is a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, receiving her BA in Dance magna cum laude in May of 2015. She had the opportunity to collaborate with and perform works by guest artists Helen Simoneau, Lindsay Fisher, Helanius J. Wilkins, Bridgman/Packer Dance, as well as dance in pieces choreographed by faculty members Ursula Payne and Nora Ambrosio. Samantha has studied at the American Dance Festival throughout the summers of 2013 and 2014 learning repertory by Trisha Brown and Bill T. Jones. She has also worked and performed in outreach programs during her undergraduate career and with Attack Theatre of Pittsburgh. Samantha is excited to see what this experience will bring and to be apart of the Gibney community!
