Gibney is thrilled to partner with Ladies of Hip-Hop to produce the 2023 LOHH festival! One of NYC’s most anticipated events of the year, Ladies of Hip-Hop festival is a week of sisterhood and celebration acknowledging women in Hip-Hop culture. It’s an action packed week honoring the brilliance, strength, and power of women in Hip-Hop culture.

Each year LOHH selects the work of all female crews & companies to present their work. Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival week wraps A One-on-One Hip-Hop, Breaking, Waacking and House battle. Doors open with our stellar all-female DJ line-up is spinning hip-hop, funk, house, soul, and classics. The battle hosts international competitors intensely jockeying for a top spot. The battle winners are awarded cash prizes, gift bags, and one-year “bragging rights”. The winner can boost themselves as one of the world’s best female Hip- Hop dancers!

ABOUT LADIES OF HIP-HOP
Ladies of Hip-Hop is a Black women-led non-profit dedicated to the empowerment of women and preservation of street and club dance forms. What started as local workshops in Philadelphia has transformed into a week-long festival gathering the global community to support and celebrate women in New York City. Ladies of Hip-Hop also hosts LDC, its own dance collective creating works that demonstrate the power of street and club dance styles. Over the last 18 years, Ladies of Hip-Hop has pioneered a movement of women leaders, ensuring the voice and experience of women in Hip-Hop are remembered.
