We live in a time of tremendous unrest and upset. The repercussions of this country’s founding injustices are rippling in our cities, at our southern border, in our bodies and daily lives. How can our somatic selves offer keys to new strategies for making change? How do we heal the body politic and our own individual bodies? In this very exploratory class which responds to the challenges of living in this time, we will seek kinesthetic knowledge through movement improvisation and somatic exercises, and think about how to apply it to our relationships, our communities, or in the service of larger changemaking and social healing.
