Workshop Description

Waacking is an LA born 70’s Gay club dance—it inspires individuality, confidence, and self love. Join Princess Lockerooo in a two-day workshop, where you’ll learn the Waacking foundation through arm combos & footwork drills. Waack dancers illustrate emotions & character, all the while being a precise visual representation of the music. Students will learn how to interpret the music rhythmically and emotionally, while applying their own personality.

The workshop will also include a freestyle portion, where you’ll explore the development of each individual’s physical capabilities within the dance. Theatrical exercises will teach students how to tell a story while freestyling, making their dancing entertaining and captivating.
