If a documented injury or illness has prevented you from using a class series prior to the expiration, please contact us at classes@gibneydance.org to be considered for an exception.

How Do I Register for Classes?

Dancers can register online to reserve a place in class in advance through our website or the Mind Body Online App. All dancers should register and complete payment prior to class. You may also purchase any of our class items and series via the website or the Mind Body Online App for future use.

Registration and submission of payment may also be completed in person at our 280 and 890 Centers, prior to entering class.

How Do I Provide Payment?

Students may pay for class using credit/debit cards. Cash is accepted on a case by case basis on site prior to the class start time. Full payment must be received prior to entering your class, workshop, or intensive.

Where are Classes Located?

Classes take place at both Gibney locations. Please make sure to check the description of the class you are signing up for to see which location your class is held at. The majority of our classes take place at our 280 Broadway location.

What is Gibney’s Class Cancellation and Refund Policy?

Class Cancellations

Online class registrations may be canceled through Mindbody Online up until the scheduled class start time. Canceled registrations will automatically return the class credit to your Gibney account.

Gibney does not offer refunds for canceled class registrations. Cancellations cannot be processed after the class start time, and the class credit will be forfeited.

Class or Workshop Cancellations by Gibney

If Gibney cancels a class or workshop, the class credit will automatically be returned to your account for future use. If you used a non-series credit for a canceled class and would prefer a refund, please contact classes@gibneydance.org.

Incorrect Class Credits

If you register for a class using an incorrect class credit, you must purchase the appropriate credit before participating. Partial payments cannot be accepted. Gibney can refund the original incorrect credit purchase.

Refunds & Extensions

Gibney does not offer refunds or extensions for purchases or reservations, including partially used class series, except in the following circumstances:

  • Gibney cancels your class or workshop
  • You experience a documented illness or injury before your credit or series expiration date

Refund or extension requests related to illness or injury must be submitted to classes@gibneydance.org with appropriate documentation before the credit or series expires. Approved refunds will only be issued in the original form of payment.
