Andreina Hurtado

Company Manager

Andreina Hurtado (she/her) is an arts administrator and operations leader, born in Venezuela and raised in Houston, Texas, with experience spanning dance education, team leadership, and operations management. Grounded in collaboration and thoughtful systems-building, she brings a people-centered approach to leadership and a strong commitment to equity, social impact, and access. Hurtado’s career has taken her through operations and people leadership roles, most recently as Center Manager at Olgam Life in Brooklyn, where she oversaw day-to-day operations, team development, and organizational culture, and previously as a Hospitality Manager with Chick-fil-A. Before transitioning into operations leadership, Hurtado built her career in dance education, teaching students ages two through eighteen across public, private, charter, and community-based organizations. Though her path led her into operations, dance has always remained her true passion, and she is thrilled to bring her operational expertise back into the artistic world she loves. Hurtado holds a BFA in Dance with a Concentration in Dance Education and a minor from the McCombs School of Business from The University of Texas at Austin, where she trained under Charles O. Anderson, Gesel Mason, Erica “EG” Gionfriddo, and dance educator Tina Curran, with additional coursework completed abroad at the University of Sydney.
