Emerson (he/him) grew up training at the Utah Conservatory of Performing Arts and continued his training at Brigham Young University as a member of the Contemporary Dance Theatre where he performed works by Omar Roman de Jesus, Jesse Obremski, Jie-Hung Connie Shiau, LAJAMARTIN, and Cameron McKinney.
