Esther Goldbas is a lifelong dancer and arts aficionado. She holds nearly 30 years experience as an employment law litigator and has worked across several prestigious New York City firms. Today, she remains of counsel to Tanenbaum Associates, LLP in Bayside, NY. Esther earned her JD from Cornell Law School and BA from Cornell University. She has served on the Boards of The Community Synagogue (2001-2019), where she participated as the VP Membership, Education, Special Projects and Co-Chaired the Human Resources Committee, as well as the Harbor Acres Property Owners Association (2003-2005), which she rejoined in 2018. In 2019, she stepped on to Gibney’s Board of Directors, eager to combine her fervent belief in women’s rights and social justice with her love of dance. Esther and her husband Daniel Tanenbaum have four children named Noah, Charlotte, Teddy, and Miranda, and reside on the North Shore of Long Island.
