Harleen Ghuman is a current sophomore at Baruch College, where she obtained a full-tuition scholarship through the Macaulay Honors program. She is working towards a BBA with a major in marketing and a minor in the Interdisciplinary Studies of New York City and data analysis. Being in the Macaulay Honors program, Harleen has garnered interest and appreciation for the cultural arts and the community in New York City. With that interest, she learned how to analyze various forms of art and understand the underlying message it serves. Using that knowledge, Harleen has dedicated her time and efforts to giving back to the community while participating in and viewing many cultural arts experiences the city has to offer! She has worked with several non-profits in the past with the goal of giving back to the community in several perspectives through the respective role of marketing and communications.

Harleen’s passion for dance stems from her childhood, and she has a great interest in contemporary and folk dances. Her goal for the future is to learn more variations of dance and have it become a hobby. Although she is a beginner at dance, she is willing to learn and is excited to grow with Gibney!
