Paige Nelson is a native of Los Angeles, California where she began her training at West Coast Dance Theater. She later transitioned to California Dance Theater, where she received an American Ballet Theater Training Curriculum and was a member of the Pacific Festival Ballet.

In 2015, Paige moved to New York to continue her training in the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase. During her time there, she was fortunate enough to perform with Purchase Dance Company in works by Tom Weinberger, Merce Cunningham, Nejla Yatkin, Rena Butler, Roderick George, and Ohad Naharin. Additionally, Paige performed a new work for her senior project, choreographed by former Batsheva dancer, Bret Easterling.

In addition to Paige’s yearly training, she has also attended numerous summer programs that include Jacob’s Pillow Gaga Program 2018, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, BalletX, Axis Connect, Dance Italia, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, and more. Paige has also worked very closely with JUNTOS Collective, a non-profit organization that uses dance to create intercultural exchange in underprivileged communities. She has travelled with JUNTOS to Guatemala and Mexico, each for two weeks, teaching and performing with dancers, as well as non dancers.

Paige graduated from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase in May of 2019, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, and a concentration in composition. She is currently based in Los Angeles and New York.
