Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Veronica Allen (she/her) is a movement artist and creator based in New York City. She graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance from UC Irvine in 2023, where she was recognized for her excellence in dance as a Donald McKayle scholar, and worked closely with Professors Charlotte Griffin and Lar Lubovitch. Allen completed the GibneyPRO training program in 2024 where she worked in process with distinguished artists such as Sidra Bell, Peter Chu, Laja Field, Lea Ved, and others. In artistic processes, she strives to remain curious and playful. This has sparked her exploration in her own choreographic methods as well as interested her in arts management. She hopes to continue creating opportunities for dance in her community and is excited to join Gibney’s Operations team.
