Allison Buckmaster

Operations Associate

Allison Buckmaster (she/her) is a dancer, arts administrator, and teaching artist originally from Virginia. As a recent graduate of James Madison University, she received her BA in Dance magna cum laude in May of 2026. Throughout her university career, she worked with choreographers and artists including: DanceWorks Chicago, NV&A and Guests, Daniel Charon, Christian Von Howard, and Lucinda Childs Dance Company. Allison also debuted adjudicated choreographic work at the Mid-Atlantic American College Dance Association. Externally, she received training through Gibney’s Winter Study and DanceWorks Chicago Dance360. Currently, Allison enjoys the life of a freelance artist in the city, and is dedicated to building and contributing to positive and safe communities.
